Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English as core subjects from a recognized board. Class 12 or equivalent appearing aspirants are also eligible to apply for NEET.
NEET 2024 application form process was conducted in two phases. While the first and original phase was conducted from March 6 to April 6, the second phase was conducted from April 12 to April 15. Even though the NEET application form 2024 for the second phase was scheduled to end on April 13, it was extended by two days owing to the delay caused by technical glitches. As many as 20.87 lakh candidates had applied for NEET 2024. Out of this, 20.38 lakh candidates appeared for the exam. Around 11.46 lakh candidates qualified for NEET 2024.
The NEET 2024 syllabus will be the same as last year's, covering Physics, Chemistry, and Biology based on Classes 11 and 12 syllabi.

The NEET exam this year was moderately difficult. In comparison to last year, the exam was harder. The questions were more theoretical in nature. As a section-wise comparison, chemistry was the hardest when compared to physics and biology.
To appear in the NEET 2024 exam, the NEET admit card is a mandatory document that must be carried to the exam center. Therefore, candidates should download a color print-out of the same. It is advisable to download two copies, as one copy must be submitted at the exam center.

To download the NEET 2024 result cum scorecard, candidates can visit the official website and use their login ID and password. The scorecard will include the candidate's raw scores (sectional and overall) and percentiles (sectional and overall).
