Bachelor’s Degree of a minimum of 3 years from any recognised University.

    Registration Process

    To apply for the MAT examination : Register Online and fill out the application form Choose MAT exam centre and provide the necessary documents such as a Valid Email ID, Scanned image of a photograph (10 to 50 kb), Scanned image of signature (5 to 20 kb), and a Credit Card/Debit Card (ATM Card) or Net Banking details. Pay the application fee of Rs 2100/- & Download the application form.

    Syllabus

    The syllabus of MAT is divided into 5 sections, with a total of 150 questions and each section consists of 30 questions.

    Exam Pattern

    The exam pattern of MAT 2024 has changed from the pattern of the previous years. There are a total number of 150 questions containing 30 questions each for 5 sections. Each right answer carries 1 mark and each wrong answer attracts a negative marking of -0.25.

    Admit Card

    The MAT Admit card is available on the official website of AIMA, visit mat.aima.in and log in with your ID and password to download the admit card. You can print your admit card after reviewing the information.

      Exam Day Guidelines

      Don’t forget to check your slot timings and exam centre location 2-3 days before the exam. Bring your Admit card, original photo ID proof and passport-size photos. Do not bring any electronic items or exam hall-prohibited items. Try to reach 15 minutes before the exam time.

        Exam Hall Prohibited Items

        Any technical/electronic items such as earphones/headphones, Watches, Mobile phones, Calculators, Electronic gadgets, Bags and wallets, Stationery items and any Jewellery are prohibited in the exam hall of MAT examination.

          Exam Timing

          The MAT examination is held 4 times in a year i.e. February, May, September, and December. The exam takes place in various shifts as per the preference of the candidate.

          Answer Key

          The MAT examination answer key is generally released after some days of the exam. However, the answer keys are not officially posted by the AIMA, but some Coaching centres and MBA experts release unofficial mock answer keys for the students. It helps students calculate tentative exam scores. The answer keys are available online in the form of PDF.

          Result and Scorecard

          The results of MAT - PBT, CBT and IBT are announced on the official website of AIMA. Candidates can download MAT 2024 results by visiting the official website of MAT examination and logging in using their registered Email ID, Password and DOB. The result will appear and candidates can download the soft copy of their results, and also take a printout of the hard copy.

          Exam Score

          The MAT composite score ranges between 199 to 801. The Composite Score is total marks, calculated based on student's performance in the first four sections of the examination. The sectional composite score lies between 20 and 80.
