Yes, Round 5 is the final round for JoSAA Counselling 2024. This year, the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) has reduced the number of counselling rounds from six to five for admissions to IITs, NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs. The admission process for IITs will strictly conclude after the 5th round. However, for the NIT+ System, two additional rounds will be conducted under the CSAB Special Counselling 2024.
Final Round for IITs: The 5th round of JoSAA counselling will be the last round for IIT admissions. No further rounds will be conducted under CSAB Special for IITs.
NIT+ System Special Counselling: After the 5th round of JoSAA, two additional rounds will be held under the CSAB Special Counselling for NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs.
